I have the Amazon Prime Day Blues.

Amazon Prime Day has come and gone and so did my credit card, back into my pocket. Not sure if it was Amazon’s devious ploy to get everyone to sign up for Prime or if they desperately needed to empty their warehouses. In any case the sale was plagued with niche items like this Behind the Ear Digital Device and this Ladies Performance Realtree Camo and who doesn’t need a Perky-Pet 338 Squirrel Be Gone II Country House!

On top of the lack of valuable and interesting items, the user experience sucked. The carrousel-type pagination made searching for items a nightmare. On my 27-inch screen the most items I could see at once was a whopping 9! Not to mention the lack of a sale-specific search bar and/or breadcrumbs.

Well tomorrow is another day and I’ll probably go back to being totally obsessed with Prime and ordering absolutely everything on Amazon but when the next Amazon Prime Day comes along I’ll know not to wake up like an excited little girl on Christmas morning.

I’m outraged, I think they only sold one of the 40″ TVs I waited all day for. It was gone within ten seconds of posting. I’m cancelling my prime and not using Amazon anymore. I hate you Amazon.
